Cartoning Machines, Engineered for Your Product

When it's time to think inside the box, CRG can tackle diverse product and rate requirements with custom cartoning solutions.

Cartoning Categories

Carton style and product handling drive the machine choice. Four configurations cover most of what we build.

Load product through the open end of a carton lying on its side. Good fit for rigid products, blister packs, and tubes.

Drop product into an open carton from above. This handles fragile items, pouches, and irregular shapes that resist end-loading.

Feed product laterally. Useful when upstream equipment already presents product on its side and you'd rather not reorient it.

Form the carton around the product instead of loading into a pre-formed carton. Tighter fit, less board per unit.

Motion type is the second decision. Intermittent motion indexes the carton, stops it, loads, then advances. Simpler to service and well suited to moderate rates. Continuous motion keeps cartons moving through load and close, which is how a line reaches higher speeds without jostling product.

From Assessment to Runoff

Tailored to Fit

Every cartoning project starts with your product, not our catalog. We work through carton styles, rate targets, changeover expectations, and floor constraints before proposing a configuration.

Support continues after runoff: spare parts packages, preventative maintenance scheduling, and controls troubleshooting from the same engineers who built the machine.

  1. Assess product geometry, rate requirements, and available floor space
  2. Concept the machine and cell layout, including infeed and discharge
  3. Design mechanical, electrical, and controls in-house
  4. Build and test at our Louisville shop, with factory acceptance testing before shipment
  5. Install, commission, and train your operators and maintenance team

Send us your product specs and a target rate, and we'll tell you which cartoner configuration fits.

The C-IMC Cartoner

The Future of Cartoning

CRG engineered the C-IMC as an open-frame intermittent motion cartoner. The open design puts every wear point within reach, and a recipe-driven HMI lets operators change carton size without tools.

It's the most user-friendly cartoner ever built, making downtime a thing of the past.
