Position Summary

The Controls Technician plays a vital role in the control panel assembly, field wiring, maintenance, and repair of electrical control systems. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all systems are functioning optimally and in compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Control panel building
System field wiring
Install and troubleshoot electrical control systems and components.
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve issues.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electrical technology preferred.
Current electrical license or certification.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in controls electrical work.
Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and technical documentation.
Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and other control systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirements

Capable of lifting heavy equipment and standing for extended periods.
